One of the main characteristics of Faliscan red-figure pottery is its high artistic quality, which translates into an impeccable style of drawing, both complicated and precise, in the choice of the subjects, often based on Greek myths, and in elaborate and well-structured composition of the scenes. Do not expect "perfection" as if these clay vases was not mass produced from a machine like many are, but by hand.The impressive shape, enriched with volutes on the upper handles and with moldings on the lip and foot, perfectly fits with the refinement of the figural and subsidiary decoration. We stick to the materials and methods used by ancient Greeks and use only top quality ceramics and paints. Our clay items are Hand painted and not fastly made, nor are they cheaply made of substitute materials such as resin. It was Hand made in Greece, height is approximately 15 inches. Its modern name is based on the figural depictions in red colour on a black background, in contrast to the preceding black-figure style with black figures on a red background. It replaced the previously dominant style of Black-figure vase painting within a few decades. It developed in Athens around 530 BC and remained in use until the late 3rd century BC. Red-figure vase painting is one of the most important styles of figural Greek vase painting. Hades bears a bird-tipped staff, Hecate a four-headed Eleusinian torch and aureole, and Hermes a herald's wand, winged boots and petasos cap. The gods are identified by their attributes. Hades driving a quadriga chariot returns Persephone to the upper world in the company of Hermes and Hecate. The original dating approximately at 350BC is in the British Museum.
